I'm wondering what the smallest diameter wheels are that can go on an SL55? I'm sure it can't be too far off from the stock 19's since the AMG breaks are so large. I want to get a second set of wheels and tires, but want the smallest diameter wheel for it. Any help is appreciated.
I think I read somewhere that certain 18's fit?
Stock from the factory is 18 inches.
I'm thinking I can get away with 17" now all I need is all the right measurements and offset, etc.
Going to use the car all winter. Want bigger side walls for winter tires.

I believe in using my cars, but an SL55 as a snow beater? Surely there is a $500 pos available for that duty.
