Message in red ! Engine oil level reduce oil level.But I know it is the right oil level on the engine,so where is the problem,sensor ? If so where can I find this sensor,thanks.

I got this problem for a while,I dont use this car much but I change the oil and filter every year,taking out the plugg from the pan and are filling the right amount of oil,must be a sensor,but where is it placed on the engine.

Purchase a dip stick and measure the actual level. That will tell all.

Yes,agree but the oil level is right I have tested it with a deep stick.

add a quart of oil and you are good to go till next service, it happens sometimes,dont worry too much it is a common thing i was told by mb (and AMG academy guys)

Yes I know,but it`s not nice to get the pling sound and red message every time I use the car.
