Tuners
I have an 03 SL55...and am totally digging it! The 155 speed limiter is frustrating, though.
I have been looking at the performance kits from Brabus, Kleeman, etc., that will boost HP and raise or iliminate the limiter. They also have ABC reprograms that are supposed to make the car handle a bit better and lower it.
Does anyone have any experience with this stuff...I would like some feedback. Thanks.

What upgrades from Rentech did you get and how much was it....and did it work, and have they affected the reliability?
Thanks
Thanks

'22 Alpina B7,'21 G63 Renntech obviously (wife), Wrangler(kids)
'03 C32:Renntech pulley,ECU and springs-noticeable performance improvement,problems with overboost/overheating at prolonged fast runs.
'03 CL600: ECU-delimited
'03 E55: as in C32(no springs)-better performance all around,ran perfect always.(mods done on the 2nd engine)
'04 S600: Renntech Stage 3,still waiting for the car (VPC)
Highly recomend Renntech for the quality of their work, however they are expensive and practically do not improve the resale value.(You do that stuff for your own enjoyment only)

IngenereAMG,
Do a search on E55 forum for Cannonball E55. Like absent said, RENNtech isn't cheap but they do excellent work.

I also have a friend locally with a W210 E55, that would intersting too.
5.5 liter with standard KLEEMANN SC, headers and down pipes, and ECU tuning. Last year it ran 12.4's at 119 mph 6200 feet above sealevel. KLEEMANN 19's with 275 Goodyear F1's.
Over the winter we have installed a KLEEMANN 3.06 LSD and reprogrammed the EGS with AMG shifting: 0-60 dropped .5 sec- cant wait to see at the 1/4.

Where is AZ are you? If you are around Scottsdale stop by Dyno-Comp. www.dynocomp.com
They tune lots of Benz's and can flash your ECU via OBDII to remove the top speed limiter amoung other things. They to all the aftermarket work for Schumacher Mercedes.
