Hi T bone, that particular SL was having the full sound system and DVD.
The Amplifier and electronics lives under the floor in the trunk.
The cost of the system is some 15,000 euros.
As a side issue, the AMG guys can send most of the parts listed in the Manufaktur brochure .
They are making me some light grey floor mats trimmed with alppacca grey leather and embossed with the AMG logo. There is a lot available that the UK dealers either don't know about or won't tell you about.
AMG do all sorts of modification, and if you wish to pay for it you can have virtually anything.Check out the interior of this streched G wagon. The rear seats are from a C Class, and the colour scheme was to the clients choice .

Hi Mike,We turned up at the door as a group of four, without an appointment. The Manager of customer relations came to see us and was extremely helpfull and agreed to take us on the full Tour. The guy then took us for a short drive to another AMG location, then we all went for a fantastic lunch in their hospitality centre.
I think we were lucky as he explained that he was expecting a client, but the client's flight had problems ,so he had a spare time slot.
I think the most polite way would be to ask for an appointment to have a tour

Great photos....and what nice hospitality that they showed you when you came with no appointment.
To get in at Ferrari takes an act of from the Pope (if that'll work) and then....NO PICTURES! God forbid! You'd think that they were working on nukes! Over the years the Ferrari tour has become lame and commercial.
Anyway it sounds like a great time at AMG. I'll have to do it on my next trip!
