Hello All,
I'm new to the forum (2004 SL55 AMG, 744 silver) and am looking for pictures and first hand experience with a good source for a (ideally) prepainted "Brilliant Silver" rear deck spoiler.
I have searched this forum but did not find what I was looking for.

I recently just purchased this one for my Brilliant Silver Sl55 and can vouch for the quality.

Paint quality and match is superb, lays completely flat on deck lid, and has fast shipping. I've bought from other sellers in the past that cost twice as much as this one and they weren't nearly as nice.

That is correct, it attaches with 3M VHB tape. There are also pre drilled holes in the event you feel like drilling through your trunk but it's not necessary. Also, they include a roll of 3M tape with the spoiler and you put it on yourself. I asked them to attach it before shipping it for optimum placement.

I bought mine from JBSpeed on here and it fit very very well and came prepainted.
