2006 SL55 030 Option 2003 CL500 Sport 2007 Prius 2003 Harley Deuce 2010 Vespa

2016 SL55 030 (Perormance Package)

I am in Palm Beach, FL and intending to put my SL55 030 (Perormance Package - I believe 71 made) on the market soon. It is silver, 53,000+/- miles, no modifications, Silver/Charcoal, always serviced by MBZ. Mint/excellent. Also, Exclusionary, NO Deductable, Extended Warrenty until 04-16.

I'm quite sure you meant 2006 and of course you should get that car (if the price is right). I just picked up a 2007 SL55 030 with only 74,000 km's (black on black). Can't wait to get it from the detail shop. Enjoy!

I have always thought the R230 lines although beautiful in any color looks best in white and red. I love my pewter metallic R230, but think red and white show off the sexy lines best.

Other than your SL55 being 10 years old, what made you switch to the SL63? You've gotta tell us your feelings on the differences between the SL55 and your new SL63?

lets see,
I still think my 230 is a better looking car but I mostly got the 231 because I wanted new technology like blue tooth that's worth a crap. Plus I always thought the old 5sp auto trans was archaic.
I do love the added power, neck scarf, lane assist, better audio, ect. I do have a few minor complaints like when the trans is in the sport+ mode it is hard to leave the line smoothly but overall I am very happy. I looked at several other cars like the Jaguar but the fit and finish and materials were not up to MB standards plus the car hard poor visibility inside. ( they do look gorgeous)
I also considered the new C63 coupe and the S coupe but I still came back to the SL
So SL #4 for me
