SL55AMG berry red interior
Hi- is the interior of berry/charcoal exactly the same for 2003/2004? Also,is it the exact same as the SL500? (aside from the perforated leather and AMG badges) My husband has a car on order (2004 - Brilliant Silver) and is probably going to get Berry Red over Charcoal, but we were just wondering.

Yep, that is one bad machine in the back ground. It is John Alesi's DTM CLK, I had the chance to see this car up close @ Chicago's Auto Show last February! one word.....SWEET!!!!

I took the photo in the AMG showroom at the factory in Affalterbach. The car is Alesi's, and in the glass cabinet on the left they had an exact scale model of it, together with models of the SL55 F1 safety car.

I feel certain Tony's picture is of a custom colour or else the lighting is fooling the camera. It's certainly not the same as the berry red in my car which is the colour of raspberries. I feel certain that they would change the name to something else if they changed the colour, just to avoid confusion.
Only downside of BR is that it looks brown when viewed through the green tinted windows...

Think you will find it is the pic as I have never seen Berry Red in a pic that looks anything like what I have in mine. I aways manage to get it to look like Salmon Pink when I take a pic!!
