I emailed speeddriven and they said the only thing available is a billet turbo wheel upgrade which seems completely pointless. They quoted around 6000.00 for this...LOL.

A company that is willing to provide bigger turbos, will charge 10-20k just for the kit alone, is it worth that money? Then on top of that, that transmission will have to be built, that's another 3-5k.

I'm probably around 4-5k in just parts into my single turbo conversion, on top of that a lot of labor to pull/install engine, and many hours of fabrication.

I don't think I'd want to build another single setup. This kind of stuff take time and patience, I don't have much of either, even for my own personal cars.

It has been cracked on the newest MB cars by a german company,so I don't see they have a problem with the old cars for what is possible to achieve with these engines with stock map-sensor etc.

SL65 AMG ecu is nothing special. I was able to dyno tune mine myself, picked up quite a bit of power even on stock boost solenoid before going with a turbosmart boost controller.

Fairly easy to tune these cars. I even tuned a couple of the newer v8 biturbo cars, those are much more difficult but still easily done.

The newer v8 biturbo cars seem to be more mod friendly than the older V12 models. This guy could really use your help if it is that easy to tune.the V12's for high boost.
