Here is a picture of the wire what end did you cut , witch end is the front ( I assume the one with the white connector is the front, didd you use the white
connector or did you use the short cable one)
I assume end marked 1 and 2 are the front since connector 1 is the same as canbus and connector 2 fits into new head unit.
Here is the issue I have the front side done , I am at a loss on the back end, I have noway to figure out the speaker wires from the amp, I am unable to read the diagram
on the internet. My connector is the same but wire colors are different so I have no clue as of yet.
I am not doing a new amp for now want it working here is a pic of the connector
I'm about to pull the trigger and buy one of these. Did the optional 6m long main cable help at all for the install? and overall, are you happy about getting this deck? Thanks
As all connections to the speakers is located behind the drivers seat where the amplifier sits, you need to route cables between, and it's about 15 leads, for me the long cable made it easier.
As I wrote before the sound with my set up is in the same level as the original Bose set up and it looks original, and it is nice to have some buttons and knobs to control the unit easy.

This seems to be incorrect. According to Mercedes' troubleshooting schematic the rear speakers (+) terminal is wired to socket 10 and the (-) is wired to 18. You also have the left-door tweeter similarly out of phase.
There is a problem to address that seems to have gone without mention. The factory amplifier has 7 channels of amplification to drive 8 speakers. I presume a Chinese head unit has 4 channels...
Anyone know how to correctly connect the antenna mine came with a long cable but one end looks like gps not plug in. when I just use the one that is in the car
it it not the best reception.
well I received the receiver from aliexpress today and bad news, I cant even get the unit to power on, I connected the 12v yellow and the blk ground and nothing, am I missing something here or I may of got a dud
yes you have to connect the cambia box and the adapter with the 4 wires 2 green 2 white
had same issue it also took a few minutes to power even with those and would shut down after a few unites. Once all wires are connected it’s works except for reception of radio
thanks, got it on now. That's so weird that little wire needs to be connected for it to be turned on as the long wire doesn't have it. Just in case I have reception issues I bought a radio booster off ebay for like $5 and will throw it on to see if it makes a difference. Ill keep you posted as I get started on my install
so far I have half of the speakers goin and I used the small radio adaptor (not the one with the long wire) and connected that to my factory antenna that came off my oem deck, worked perfect, my cars in the garage but I got fine reception. Have you tried that?
I also bought a tpms and apple carplay for it that I will route into the armrest (if they ever arrive from china). So far I'm really impressed with this deck, its like a computer, I was able to get on websites and seems like it has tons of functions and options. I'm doing it without tapping any of my factory wiring, don't want to splice any of that up wiring up so I'm using .110 spade connectors to plug into my amp harness.
Now I’ve been out driving and the reception is not in the level of the std unit, it’s very bad when driving in parking garage for example.
As soon as the station gets week it start to search, can’t find anything in the settings to prevent it. Worst for me is that 107.3 is almost impossible to listen to, one of the popular frequencies where I live. I know that US freqency steps is different from Europe, can it be so there is a EU FM tuner instead of US FM tuner, I don’t know if that is a SW thing these days.
I have conncted the original antenna connector to the HU using the antenna adapter that came with the kit.
What I find more disturbing is the difficulty to read the display, the backlight is very week during daylight, night’s no problem.
The twin USB can I only use for charging the phone, there is no acces to the stored music on the phone, neither can’t I play music from a USB memory.
Mini SD with music on installed in the DVD SD slot works perfect.
Internet radio works greate and that is the most important thing for me.
I must sort out the backlight issue, any Ideas out there?
My reception is literally unusable I cant keep this radio ,
somthing has to be wrong I will try external antenna again
if it does not work i have to return and move to the next radio
