Im about to give up on my andorid radio please advise
I just installed a seicane android 7 radio get not usable reception in the USA New York ,
I am leaning towards returning it and getting something else any advise must haev good reception,
i live less than 20 miles from a station an cant get it clear. I connected the 12v blue wire for the amp no help
also bought the amp thing on ebay no help
what should I do?

Mine works great, I added the booster from ebay and the radio sounds better than the factory one. Maybe wrap electrical tape around the adaptor, not sure but maybe its possible something is shorting it out, or maybe you somehow pinched or cut your original (weird things can happen when you try to get the unit all the way back with all the wiring this thing comes with)

also go through the radio settings, I think I may of messed with the settings or input the US for my country. If nothing else I know there is something called the DAB radio that is a add on, maybe try that

I don’t have bad reception but the radio refuse to stay att selected station so I contacted my seller and he came back with following to sort out my problem and so for it made my problem to disapear. The instructiom follows in below window. There is also part of my dialogue with them.

That you are i n US is obvuious from your profile shown next to your posts, but it was not obvious that you had access to the info I provided and of cause you should select whats correct for where you are on the Globe.
So you where aware of how to enter in to the Settings menue with it's log in code already, I just tried to help.
And you're telling that it is worse then the factory one, I take that as you had bad reception already on the std MB Headunit as well, in that case you've got a antenna problem in your car.

I had great reception on the factory unit . I bought this as an upgrade. No channnels work good enough to listen to. I do have access to that menu tried all settings US and otherwise. I bout ham external antenna it is even worse than factory. I did connect the blue wire as recommended without it horrible reception within slightly better. He are sending me some part to replace inside the radio fm module or something. I am holding out hope. I do use fm and am most but wanted Bluetooth and better nav. If you have any other suggestions let me know

Does your Steering wheel buttons work as it should, mine only works for sound and station change and when i use the menue buttons it also change station, have yo similar problem as well? The phone button worked before I was in to the factory setting menue to get the radion to hold the stations before the search started automatically. Can you se what setting you have in the factory settin under Canbus? Appreciate if you could upload a picture of how it looks.

Did you ever get this resolved? I just purchased one from CarNaviPlayer and i'm dealing with the same issue. I purchased a booster... helped a little bit but connecting the power wire had absolutely no effect... so i had a second one sent. Same thing. Was thinking about getting an external antenna to tuck inside instead of using the windshield antenna.... Well, i tried an external antenna and it was worse than the booster on the stock antenna. I've run out of ideas.

We just gave up on ours in ml63. All these Android units are crap. We had Avin one and there isis reception whatsoever, support won't give us a code for the radio. Google auto is not compatible. Constant glitches... Next time only branded units for us...
