Brabus Exhaust on a SL55 AMG

Can the brabus sports exhaust go straight onto a SL55?? without any mods to the original body work?

any tips of advice would be great!

Brabus has an exhaust specifically made for the 55. Yes, it goes straight on it. You dont have to do any mod to the bumper.

i've heard you have to buy the rear bumper in order to make the exhaust fit.. can you confirm that it will go straight on with no mods, a pic would be good??

No, you dont have to buy their rear bumper to fit the exhaust. "sarb" just bought a Brabus exhaust from me and he has a SL with AMG package. I havent received any pics from him yet......

haven't found any pics of Brabus exhaust with the AMG rear bumper...I think that the Brabus exhaust look too small!!! but the sound should be better!!

Dean, See what you mean as the Brabus exhaust is round rather than oval like the AMG so looks like you would need a different shaped rear bumper to fit it.

Not sure if the Brabus exhaust for the E class sounds different than the Brabus exhaust for the SL. I have the Brabus exhaust on my E500 and the roar it gives off gets my adrenaline running everytime. It's not obnoxiously loud, just loud enough to get your attention.
