03-08 SL55 comes with "2.82" for sure,

SL55 using many TCU #'s:-

032 545 35 32
034 545 10 32
035 545 16 32
035 545 19 32
003 446 41 10

depends to the Vin & TCU coding #'s of SL55 AKA M/Y's.

Thanks a lot for your reply!
two more questions:
1- all these works with the 2.82 differential and all swapable between them?

2- how come that some of these tcu for instance 1032 is also marked for e55 when you do google search. The e model is 2.65 ratio.

Yeah, diff. can be swapable to each other, i remember many E55 guys done it,

you will notice same part #, but can be used with multiple models, cause TCU # not always for specific model,

the difference with coding/file & DAS & fire-up through CAN,

can't use S55 or SL55 TCU into E55, due to differ DAS & fire-up,

TCU/EGS52 is kinda easy to program it or even change the Ratio, but need a qualified hand to deal with it, as coding it to VIN # that required,

as i know; you can change the Ratio with your current E55 TCU,,

no need to go with differ TCU for Ratio change..

Oh i’m a bit confused now! So the tcu doesnt work in e55 even if it has sl55 dif?
I tought that TCu is differentiel related regardless of the car’s engine!

You can simply put SL55 diff., and send your current TCU to a good tuner to change the Ratio from "2.65" to "2.82",,

you have TCU/EGS52, which is can be tuned & programmed to another Ratio (as required)..

Ok, should this be done by star software?

I have a tcu for e500 2.82, can i use it or should it be an amg tcu?

AFAIK, should be from your current AMG/K,

cause E500 TCU/file is differ, due to DAS/oil pressure/lock converter/ down shifts,,

change Ratio should be done properly via tuners, such as "EC/UPD/RENNtech/Kleemann/OE tuning"..

No such tuners in my country but one of my mekaniks have an e55 tcu remaped for 2.82 differential. Cost 200$. Is it a good deal?
