These people are just wasting other peoples time reading all thier stupid forums. If you own all those cars then show us but if you don't just admit it.
The annual insurance for my SL65 is 4300 € (approx 5.000 USD) for full cover. This figure depends on the age of the driver, location of the car, history of accidents and much more..... so it is possible to pay even more here in France.
I am 46 years - and have a clean accident report in the past 10 years. Living in a small town in France and NOT in Paris ( would be much more expensive) As well it was not easy for me - to get this car covered by an insurance - there have been many requests to different insurance companies to get some offers, but only my "old" one (which know me) took the car under some circumstances ( parking in garages only, GPS tracking system and so on).
Kind regards from France

I am paying around that much and I am 16 on a ten year Lexus with a SL500 and X5 4.4 also on the policy.

I wonder how it would look like here, in Poland*
What kind of requirements insurances would give me?
For sure GPS monitoring.*where the risk of having such a car as SL65 is much bigger than in France.
My insurance is about $2800 a year and I live in the East Coast. My record is clean although I am fighting another ticket right now. My insurance went up about $50 per month switching from the Sl55 to the Sl65. I am 33.

I can't believe how high insurance is in France. And here I am complaining about how high insurance is in NY/NJ.
I think you are kidding (hihi) ......... France is one of the cheapest places ... In Germany you pay for an SL65 12.000€ ( approx 15.000 USD) for a full coverage in standard terms. Even with a "bonus of 50%" you would pay 7.500 USD in Germany !!
But I am really surprised about the insurance costs in the States ..... what a wounderful country .......

I was in Paris last May and I was shocked to see a sticker of about $130k for an SL500 at the MB Showroom there! How much do you guys pay for your 55s and 65s?
Warren
Prices are different in "good old Europe" ( especially for cars...
) compared with the U.S.The SL55 is 148.500 € ( ~ 180.000 USD)
The SL65 is 219.000 € ( ~ 280.000 USD)
But you have to take into consideration that this prices include a 20 % sales tax (VAT) here in France.
