Okay, thanks for your replies guys. I may have heard wrongly but I think the mechanic may just remove and cover the surround parts and then scrape off and spray the paint on, instead of removing the whole top. Anyway that’s next week so I’ll let you guys know what happens ya!
Hello guys, I’m back and so is the SL. How are ya all doing? I hope everyone is as good as they can be.
Below are some photos of the respray. They didn’t remove the manifold nor did they respray the whole thing; only the front two manifolds. I don’t really like the end result, maybe because I am a perfectionist but I guess what is done is done eh?
