Quick update for those who have been following this thread. Took the car for a 20 miles drive. Feels like the car idles and runs a bit rough but that could be me being paranoid about it. I still have minor white smoke out of the exhaust in addition to water drops. Seems like moisture coming out of the exhaust pipes. Coolant level is solid. Engine Combustion Leak Detector shows no sign of leak. One issue that I'm still battling with is a minor leak from the passenger side of the engine dripping on the exhaust manifold. I had the valve cover gaskets replaced twice. First I used the MB sealant in addition to the gasket, which was a mess. Second time I removed the sealant and put brand new gaskets. Knowing the gaskets were replaced, first thing came to mind after the leak was thinking maybe the gasket wasn't sitting properly. Took things apart and put them back on carefully but leak is still there.
Would you torque the bolts a bit tighter going from 8 Nm to maybe 10? Any ideas what else to check on?
