There won't be many regular SL driver upgrading to those AMG wheels. Too Retro, I guess that is a DTM racer styled wheel - Looks like a jet engine turbofan.

But that is my story When I pay over 100k for a car, I will, and have no issue washing the bloody thing myself.

Wash Me
I don't care about washing them. They are just not right for the car. They belong on a used 1978 Cadillac or on a lowered Escalade that's rolling with 20s.
They remind me of the horrible wheels that were on the first two model years of the CLK 320 (ie: not right for the car). God, maybe they will figure it out and start changing them on next year's model.
It is a shame to have to spend so much for the 55 and then have to go out and drop another $5k for replacement wheels.

How about this one:
I will be ordering with these wheels but will also order some custom wheels that will be more aggressive and easier to clean...I will keep the multispoke as original equipment.
Nice car!!!huh???

It is beautiful! I would add a small decklid spoiler or a low wing. Can't wait to see those from AMG and other Tuners.

given the level of areodynamic engineering done on this car...adding a rear spoiler will increase drag at speeds below 120mph and upset the balance in down force at higher speeds...you can do it if you want for appearance sake...but just be aware of the decrease in performance that would result....you would have to do significant reengineering of the front spoiler to get get an effective return on a rear wing.
