TPMS sensor inoperative but new sensors just installed

Hi all,

I installed new TMPS sensors on my 08 SL65 on aftermarket wheels, I saw the guys programming the sensors but they weren't able to reset it in my car. I tried driving it for a while, resetting it the normal way through the dashboard option but nothing works. It reads inoperative and I'm not able to reset it. Do you know another way or resetting it? I have one of those OBDII computers with many functions besides just scanning codes but no idea what to try and couldn't find anything specific to follow.

Thanks in advance,
Leo

this did the trick! I went back to the shop and they have to reconfigure the sensors to work in this frequency and now it works like a charm! Turns out they had 2 frequencies for SLs of this era, the other one was 315mhz I believe.
Thanks a lot! now the car has no lights on the dashboard at all!

yes there were 2 different ones. The year should have told them the right ones to use.

that's the weird thing, the system showed 2 options for pretty much the same years, I saw that myself. One was from 2005 to 2008 and the other one from 2005 to 2012 or something like that.
Thanks again!
