R230 M156 SL63 motor mounts
My car has a vibration up around 80+ mph. Sometimes it's there. Sometimes it's not. Local indy shop thinks it may be motor mounts. He's quoting 14 hours to swap them both. Is that in the ball park?
Could it be something else?
Are urethane mounts worthy for an upgrade over stock?

I found a shop that will do it for much less. It's in Naples, FL. I'm near Pittsburgh PA. The shop was started by a friend of mine. He sold his share but still has pull. Sounds like a good excuse for a road trip to sunny Florida.

OK i just went through the same thing with my SL65. After a year of screwing with it.
You may need Hub rings. Take a wheel off and measure the hub size on the wheel.
Mine were 76mm. The car hub size is 66.56 If the wheel hub opening is not 66.56 you will need hub rings.
You can get them most any size. If you cant find the ones you need, let me know
Also make sure the lug bolts are correct. Most mercedes seats are ball seats. most aftermarket wheels
use cone seats. I did this to my car and At 140 mph I had no vibrations.
