2009 SL63 w P30 brake pads

I can"t seem to find any low dust pads for my P30 equipped '09 SL63. I've tried Akebono, Powerstop, Brembo and Carbotec with no sucess. Most list pads for SL63 but only one number with no separate listing for P30 brakes which are quite different from the standard SL63 set up (at least for the fronts) Any help (part #s) will be most appreciated. TIA

Do you have 6 piston or 8 piston calipers?
I just did my 07 sl65. 06 and earlier have 8 piston. mine have 6 piston made by brembo I had a hard time finding pads. went with brembo pads but are more dusty than the akebono rear.
My calipers are etched Brembo on the bottom. I can get you that part number if you want it.

Look up brembo P50127N Its a low dust ceramic that should fit your car. They fit my 07 SL65. 2 pads per caliper not 4. 390mm rotors

Thanks for the reply. My fronts are 6 piston with 2 piece 15+ inch rotors. Looking for low or "no" dust so I don't think your set up will do what i Im trying to accomplish, which is minimize the dust which is the worst I have ever seen. . Thanks again
Best
Bill.

Are the P50127N pads what you found to be dustier than the Akebonos or are you suggesting them as an alternative less dirty set up?

They are listed as a low dust pad but i think the akebono's i have in the rear are a little cleaner. i've only had them on for about a week so hard to tell right now. they are nowhere near as dirty as the stock pads though

If the brembo pads turn out to be dusty I may try a set of Hawk HB731z620. They are suppose to be low dust ceramic pads.

I went with the EBC yellow from FCP Euro. I spent the better part of a day cleaning up and ceramic coating the wheels, so I’ll be able to see how much they dust.

BillsMB...

Here's Hawk's url https://www.buybrakes.com/2008-merce...amg/brake-pads. I've been using Hawk's on my C55 AMG and they're everything they advertise. Great stopping power, easy to install, very low dust and reasonably priced.

I've used Brembo's before and think they're overpriced (I buy my parts wholesale) although they're not as low dust as Hawk's.

Good luck......let us know how this turns out for you..
