SL65 bumper a direct fit on SL55?
Does anyone know for sure if an SL65 bumper is a direct fit? I have to make a decision on which bumper to replace my cracked one with this week, so any help would be appreciated. It is on a 2003 SL55.

The bumper fits without any changes.

One other quick question -- did you reuse the foglights from your old bumper? Any other parts you needed to make it work (seems like the grill mesh would have to be changed).

Fog lights look round, so I suppose they are different fog light housings as well.

It should match perfectly, The sl55 has an option for F1 package I believe and it comes with AMG 19's and those bumpers.

Yes you will need different fog lights. I ordered the F1 Safety car bumper at my shop and they checked what was to be changed. If i remember correctly, the grill mesh and the license plate holder was also changed.

Dont think you can order the 65 bumpers for US specs 55's. However, I can order directly from Germany if anyone is interested.
