How can I get my sl55 amg to drift without any interference?
It doesn't let me turn off traction control all the way in my sl55 amg. It keeps interfering when I try to drift. If I get coilovers, sway bars, and lsd will it let me drift?

This has to be a joke.

I believe that action will mess up your drivetrain. Search on the forum topic, I think I recall some specifics on it.

So, I first have to ask the obvious. Do you know how to drift? Since you seemingly seem to try to drift with an open differential, I'm not entirely sure you know what you are doing. One can certainly drift an SL55 as demonstrated in the video below, but for starters you want to use one with the Performance package to add the LSD. Otherwise, you'll just be doing one wheel spins.

I already bought one that doesn't have the package so I would have to add a aftermarket LSD. I wouldnt say im a advanced drifter but im intermediate. I would like to do it on a track since I never got to go all out. I've driven a 320i and 330i that had open diffs and got them to slide without interruption. I even had a m4 that I've drifted a little as well. The sl55 amg I got it to slide only for like 30 seconds or less without being interrupted. @superswiss

Nobody in their right mind drifts cars with an open differential. It's totally unpredictable, because you have no control over what the rear wheels are doing. You might manage to get them both to break traction just for one to suddenly hook up and throw you in a ditch worst case. Get a properly equipped car if you wanna drift, and maybe sign up for the AMG Driving Academy DRIFT and DRIFT+ experience. Note that they are using modern AMGs which have electronic rear locking differentials.

maybe the 320i f30 and 330i g20 had electronic lsd idk but it got a pretty wide angle and I was able to control it going 30mph or so. I'm for sure going to get a LSD for the sl55 amg. The reason why I went away from more modern expensive sports cars was because I want a cheaper car that I can mod.
EDL stands for Electronic Differential Lock, which is a system that uses ABS sensors on the driven wheels to determine if one wheel is spinning faster than the others. It then uses the ABS system to momentarily apply braking to balance out the traction needs of the driven wheels. EDL works alongside a stability control and/or traction control system to alter the amount of torque (turning power) that is distributed to the wheels during turning to help the car keep a grip on the road.
