Slow acceleration
Occasionally but not always when I accelerate my 2004 SL55 hard it seems to go to a low power mode where it will thereafter accelerate very slowly. If you turn the car off and on again it seems to reset. Does anyone know what this is? Is it a valet mode? Thanks

Sounds like supercharger is disengaging. Get someone with good code reader to look up events.
