i just drove a black SL with the same rims but coated black with a polished lip ...it was nice but the ride was harsh

20 inch rims on SL ...
good evening @ all

I would not recommend 20 " on a SL (R230) - even when they looking that nice as shown above. The driveablity is getting down in every aspect. The maximum IMO are the 19" rims, would suggest to go for light wheels in 18 or 19 inch - improves handling - than to go for the extra inch - just to show off.
