2003 SL55 AMG keyless go issues
Hi everyone. New here. Lady needs help with a keyless go issue. I'm alone now so don't really know how to solve, but I'm trying to trouble shoot and read up. My 2 proximity keys and 1 key fob are not unlocking, locking or starting the vehicle. I have interior lights and all inside motor functions on the seats are working. I changed out the batteries on both proximity keys. The key fob was working just fine so I didn't change those. In the cold mornings it wouldn't start for a few days in a row. When I got home later in the afternoon everything started up fine, but I didn't drive anywhere. Now yesterday and today, neither keyless go works and the key fob is locked out from the ignition. After the last attempt to start the car, the hazards went on by themselves? I manually turned them off. I read it could be "fuse 58", but I don't know where to find it to check the fuse. I did check under the hood in the fuse box, but I don't see #58. I read it is somewhere behind a seat, but I can't locate where. When I press the brake and depress the shifter button, I do hear the system noise, but nothing happens. I'm not getting any unusual messages on the display. Only the key symbol on the left, and on the right "don't forget chip card", but those are both in the car when I'm trying to start it. Can someone please help me troubleshoot why this is happening? I don't think its the housing battery main battery. Any guidance would be most appreciated!
