He says that the frontxxx(I think you call it "bumper") produces less Upforces than the normal SL55.
The SLRS have 560HP @ 6100rqm and 780nm @ 2600rqm.(it's enough to drive to the supermarket I think)

One wheel(mean, rim and tyre) from the SLRS weights 3kg less than one of the usual SL55. means, 12kg less all together. Thats really much.

The SLRS needs from zero to hundred km/h 4,2sec. The AMG 4,6sec.
The SLRS needs 13,06sec. to 200km/h, while the AMG needs 14,3sec. That means, that the RS accelerate a lil bit faster than the Tuned Porsche Turbo with 450PS(...the SLRS weights 2.000kg, I just wanna to remember!)

The Porsche reaches 307km/h, the Carlsson is autom. stopped(!) at 330km/h.

The AMG understeers to much, the consequence of this is, that you lose a lot of time till you can push the throttle. the steering gives to less feedback.if you ask me, there is nothing more ****ed up than understeering. A car has to oversteer, especially a sports car.

The SLRS is 3cm lower, which means that the weigthpoint(don't know how it calls in english) much lower than the AMG's. Better steering, better cornering etc.
The SLRS engine produces 1,1bar, means 10% more than the usual.The other thing, the Carlsson is more directly in the curves, better precision. But still it's to less feedback. The driver needs more feedback, more directly steering to get the car more faster aroung the corners. the tuning costs 40.000 EUR

If you ask me, the SLRS shouldn't weight 2.000 That sjust to much for a sportcoupe. Well, a lot of people will say know "because of comfort etc." but you will also have enough comfort with 1.300kg. If I woul dhave enough money, I would the whole damn stuff, like Clima, Navigation, Keylessgo, hardtopmechanik etc. put out of the car. Thats just to much weigth without any sense. Ok, maybe someone needs navi, clima etc. I would replace all the other stuff with Carbon Fibre and would put lighter Front and rear Windows, and Magnesium wheels. The car wold be nearly perfekt, just better steering with precision and weight about 1.380kg(which is really possible).
I think this car should be driven around the track, because it has the power.
if you want comfort you can also buy a SL500. And every blind ape with sunglasses can drive straight on. But to tune a car like this for a track and bette rhandling, that would be something special. I''ve not seen much SL's which are really racing tuned. If I want to drive fast straight on I can also buy(if I had the money) a Brabus maybach V12 Bi-Turbo, which runs more than 330km/h.



And I can't understand people who compare the SL55 with the SLRS. because, the RS is basically an SL55 and is specially tuned. It's no wonder that it is faster.
Send your SL55 to AMG (which also make custom tuning) let it tuned by the guys. And I promise you will drive the **** out of any brabus, Kleeman or Carlsson. But nevertheless, a really interesting video which I have seen on TV at that time and I'm happy to have it now as video. Thank you.
