Nothing significantly new nor exciting about these winged SLs nowadays, but looks fine, I guess.

Why? My wife love if I do somethings like this to my car.

Someone know how much for the kit?

Nice movie link sprins! I had no idea those doors were motorized. I'd sure hate to be in a hurry with those things.

On the positive side: With the time it takes the doors to open, there is plenty of time to try to convince the mrs. to get in.

Those doors aren't new, they are pretty old.

The front bumper looks like crap IMO but the rear coupled with the trapazoid exhaust is the sweetest things since cupcakes!

What IS new about the doors is that they're fully automatic/hydraulically operated and are closed via a button on the underside of the door.

Car running?

Why is the car continually running? Do they work when it's off? Seems weird.

You can hear it. I don't think it shuts off at all the whole time, including when they walk away from it at the end. Although it would be pretty useless if you needed the engine on for the full assist.

I can't believe it's so slow!!! The guy pulled the door handle and stood there for what seemed like eternity. Also, the doors take absolutely ages to close! It's quite funny actually. However, I like the concept and if they could make it work without all the hastle, then it would be fine. Imagine being in a hurry and having to wait for the door to open!!! I like the car though. It looks very aggressive with the body kit. The K logo is O.K.

The hydraulics that run the doors are in the trunk... 10 seconds to open or close - which sounds like nothing but is actually about 3-5x longer than it normally takes to open or close a door. My guess is that will grate on you!

You also have that odd reach up to the button to close the doors (which will drive the valet guys nuts trying to figure out). While I think they look pretty nifty, I think it would become simply obnoxious if you use your SL as a every day ride.

Like most of the Kleemann products, it looks impressive on the papers but once you use it everyday it turns weird.
