As of Wednesday, 12/31, there was no pricing showing in netstar. The pricing update they have given is this:
$299,000 MSRP not including gas guzzler, d&d.
On monday, they gave the cars an MSRP of $197,000 on netstar. I think that means they are giving a 102,000 option for the black series. I am not working today so I cannot tell you what is posted today. There is no "exact" price yet.

That's why I asked. I just got a new copy of an invoice showing the $194,700, plus $2,750 D & D and it made me wonder what the story was. I also figured it was the base price of an SL65 and it will change when the car is released to the public.

I think the system was messed up, since the SL Black is a brand new model, and MBUSA hasn't updated its netstar for a brand new car yet. Same thing when I ordered my 09 SLK before its official released date, netstar said my SLK was 495,000

It will show up by car. Once a vehicle hits the VPC, they print off the window sticker. That is when it will show up on netstar. That's how it always works. My car should be sitting at the VPC or will arrive there sometime in the next 12 hours. I will keep you guys posted
