I would like one, but at sub $200K. I hope that price point happens by spring.
It is a hell of a car, just overpriced.

The guy who wrote the article for the Telegraph is obviously a hippy greenie Brit so steeped in ideology he can't see straight. I wanted to strangle him as I read the article.

I was really shocked by Clarkson's review. Besides the the CLK BS, he has hammered AMG for years on handling.
He is such a whiny purist on handling etc. AMG finally gives him a race tuned suspension and what does he say.
"The suspension is SO harrrshhhh. It's doesn't give at all (image of him putting full body weight on the fender with NO movement).
We just can't win sometimes.
You KNOW if they made the handling softer, " I just wish the mates at AMG would have made it a little more racey. A little more like a real race car"
Grrrrrrrrr

The problem I have about all these reviews, is they always say "harsh ride" It's a race car(well in a sense). They always compare it to the regular 230's. It does ride very stiff they are correct, but it is suppose to. It's fun to drive,
but personally I think the Scuderia is a better choice. I'm more partial to italian styling and performance.
Clarkson was right about the turning radius, it is awful. Every time time I pull one on my lift, it takes several turns to get it on.

The Brit that wrote the telegraph article is obviously still drinking the pre-climate gate Kool Aid. Perhaps one of the 8 SL BS cars in the UK will run over him and his Prius!
Note to telegraph: Don't send a 'greenie idiot' to do the work of a car enthusiast.
