Total Miles on a Tank?

I was wondering how many miles do you normaly get on a full tank of gas? I usually get about 200 and I was wondering if that was about right or is it below average. Right now i spend about $300 a week on gas and I think that that is too much for a 98' SLK.

Thats low. I usually get 23-25 mpg so I can typically get to 300 miles per fill up.

I get about 300 miles to a tank, average 25mpg on my 2000 SLK230. I tend to romp on the gas as well.

I just got 277 with my 98 SLK230, the warning light was on for 27 miles. I have figured 22 mpg and that is driving 85+ back and forth from work every day.

About 320 per tank. Six speed, 2001, about 20,300 miles on it.

Just tested the mileage on my SLK320. I reset my trip odometer at my last fill up. Low Fuel Light came on at 305 miles. I filled up and the pump read 12.5 gallons. So that is about 24 to 25 mpg in mixed city and highway driving and a bit on the aggressive side too with the top up and down. That would go about 340 to 350 miles per tank.

I've got a 2002 SLK230K and I get about 28 miles to the gallon. But that's a UK gallon which is 4.54 litres; a US gallon is 3.79 litres. (I think UK miles and US miles are the same! ) So my consumption works out to 23+ per US gallon. The tank is 60 litres so I'd get about 370 miles if I let it run dry; in practice the fuel warning comes on at about 320 miles. Hope that helps!

Would re mapping or a bigger crank pulley help

Any other suggestions to increase the fuel consumption
