ANyone in MD/VA/DC area?
well im in Ellicott City
i saw few emmbers in DC/columbia/baltimore area.
we shoudl have a get together sometime
after this crappy weather breaks, we should meet one time at Loch Raven. Sundays at around 5pm is when the gate opens. There are plenty of cars nice and not so nice out there and some people comie out on their bikes too. nice lake to relax and mingle with car enthusiasts(some IDIOTS though)
let me know whos interested! i will set a date once weather starts to get nicer

Welcome to the forum
I am in Columbia,MD.
I had my SLK serviced at Benchmark at 108 & Red Branch Rd.
They installed my Eisenmann Sport muffler and did wheel alignment.
R & H Motors is also good place for service but at dealer prices.

Benchmark: Muffler sound
Benchmark installed my Eisenmann Sport muffler for $90.00.
I purchsed the muffler and conecting pipe from BEKKERS for $524.00.
It improved the sound. At idle it has a deep rumble sound. When accelerating, it gets loud.
You have to decide which muffler you would prefer and if you have an opportunity meet someone that has made the change and hear the sound the muffler produces.

cool...nice to have REAL locals
i'll def post here as the weather gets warmer so we can REPRESENT
but yeah DEF need to fix the stock exhaust... any advice?
im thinking like re-doing the whole piping, get rid of the 1 to 2cat to 1 pipe deal and install high flow cat and doing away with stock muffler or in-pipe muffler with stock tip..... what do u all think
