SLK/R170: Is $43900 reasonable for a used '02 SLK320
First of all, I assume the car has metallic paint and the sticker price was originally $48,965. Out of that, there is $645 destination, 7% markup, and 3% holdback. Which means the
when the car was new, the dealer paid about $43,500 for it.
You can only guess what the dealer paid when they bought it back from the customer as a used car, but you can bet it was less than $43,500. My bet is that they paid less than $42K.
If you're negotiating and they really won't budge on price, see about a free CD changer. They're expensive options (at least $800) and if you have CDs, you'll definitely want one.

You want to buy an old model that in one or two years it will be totally dead.
In your position i would put something plus for the new 350.No comparison! Faster than the new boxster s and new gearboxes both manual and automatic.
Don't dare to throw such a lot of money for 320!

that's 3 years ago, no wonder you think it'S a lot
