Got taken to class: SLK-101, by Beantownrich
Hey guys...
Thanks to Beantownrich, i hope to be joining your cadre as soon as i can find a nice low mileage preowned SLK.
I spent a couple of hours hanging with him in Boston this weekend and wow.... i decided right there and then that i absolutely had to have an SLK or if i won the lottery, an SL

haha nope have you checked the papers... i saw a number of SLK's in the paper last sunday... also andrea mentioned swapalease.com..... they have a crap load of SLK's.... haha

Too bad you weren't around this afternoon - I had an impromptu opportunity to race an 80's 208GTB on an empty two lane road from a stop light. Absolutely creamed him... I still can't believe it. It would have been great to have you there as a witness.

As I'm in nearby CT, a gathering of SLK owners in Newport, RI would be great.
There's lots of good pubs there too!
Thinking of summer, I'm signed up for the Boston gathering, put on by Madza (Madzarevitup.com). A day of instruction and "track"time for $39, how bad can it be?
Too bad Mercedes B doesn't have something like it.

Count me in. I am a west coast translant (my SLK too) and will be going to graduate school for the Fall semester and arriving prior to that sometime in June.
Hope to see you guys and swap a few tips of orientation for the SLK and me in Beantown.
