I've been debating this mod since I first saw it on mbslk.de about a year ago. I want both the look and the increased airflow through the radiator (needed in Arizona). The only thing stopping me is the fit.
I would have bought the grill in Germany two months ago just to try it because it's so cheap (68 Euros, I think). Unfortunately, there was a mixup at the dealer and my parts never got ordered.
Did you get one that included pre-fabbed brackets for the SLK? I've seen installations where you have to cut notches in the front bumper apron. That's something I'd never do and I was hoping to find away around it.

Brian, I ordered mine through my dealer and modded it myself, and I definitely did not cut my bumper. If you decide to get it and mod it yourself e-mail me and I'll give you more details on modding it for the 32 - (not nearly as extensive as the 230 mods)
Its about $115 at most US dealers

CLK grill
There a company in Germany providing modified CLK grills ready for DIY installation - http://www.x-t-c.com/mbslk/CLK-Grill/clk-grill.html - at a price, though.
The CL grill supposedly fills the opening better but requires more mods to fit, and is extremely expensive (>$400)
