"Old Wheels"

Your Barbus wheels are looking great, do you still have the "old ones" and consider selling?

Have fun and a great day

SLK320 did you lower your car at all? I tryed to fit 8.5" wide rims on the front of my SLK32 but they were to wide and came very close to hitting my suspension. I want to fit 19x7.5 Foose speedster rims on the front and 19x8.5 on the rear of my car with 225/35/19 on the front and 245/35/19 on the rear. do you think this will fit?

I am not sure about 19's. I had my car lowered with Schatz springs and Koni yellow shocks and the 18X8.5 does not rub at all.

I am running 225/40/r18 fornts and 255/35/r18 rear, but I can still go up in size for the rear and run 265/35/r18 or may be even 275.

Every place I had ever looked did not recomend putting on 19's on the R170 chasis, so I didn't. They might look better, but how much performance would you sacrafice? Not to mention rubbing and fitment issues...

Best person to ask IMO is Jerry, owner of www.myroadster.net he would know whether 19's would fit or not and he replies to all his communications quickly. I got mine from his site.

Hope that helps.
