Performance & style for SLK 200K?

I'm a newbie to this forum, so before posting any thread I expent some time looking around this forum on various posts to find answers to my questions...
In fact, there's a complete list of what I wish to make to a 2002 SLK 200 Kompressor... but even if I'm globally sure about what to do, there's still some points that need to be clarified.
Surely I can find answers to all that there but... I'll thank very much your opinion.

1.- Body kit
Complete AMG (front & rear bumper, side skirts, spoiler)... that's for sure.

2.- Engine tuning
Carlsson CK20 Boost-kit and maybe a K&N air filter...
(I'm looking for a better acceleration between 2.800/4.000 rpm and this one seems to be a reliable basic power upgrade. Do I need to change the intercooler or reinforce some mechanical parts with this upgrade?)

3.- Exhaust system
Eisenmann exhaust 'cause it seems to have a nice sound and some extra-power in a reasonably-priced package. With the 2xOval AMG style tips. What I don't know is what I have to choose: Sport or Racing.
As I'm looking for a nice sound but not too loud, what of both do you think should be the best for the 2.0 liter engine?

4.- Suspensions
Not specified yet, but if it's possible I'll look for any of the following Bilstein complete kits: B12 BTK, B14 PSS or BS16 PSS9…
In addition to this, the Eibach Anti-roll kit...
Thinking about lowering the car more or less 3 centimeters (sorry, I don't know how many inches this is...)

5.- Wheels & tires
Trying to find light-weighted 18" wheels (AMG, BBS or something like that...) with Pirelli P-Zero Nero M&S tires (AV 225x40, AR 255x35). If there's any problem with those wheels and lowering the car, I'll search for 17" ones.

6.- Extra items
Safety Roll-over bars (chrome look)... don't know yet from whom...
Door-sills and some interiors things...
Some alarm kit that I still have to decide...

Can you give me some tips about how to improve it or your personal vision about a full-tuned SLK?
Thank you for your help.

(I'm european, living in France and Spain... it's hard to find any kind of dealers for Mercedes-Benz cars)

I would upgrade the brakes too. The slk 230 need more breaking power.

I asked directly to a MB dealer and they told me that the brakes (front & rear) are exactly the same for the 200K, 230K and 320 versions!!!

On the one hand, I made a comparison between the 200K and the 230K and the first one seemed to have slightly more stopping power than the second one... maybe because of the weight of the 230K we compared but, on the other hand, I'm not so sure that the brakes are the same for every version except the 32 AMG...

Aix...

Thanks for the suggestion... I too have a 200 Slk (2002); what would the most straightfoward brake upgrades be? Thanks for your help!

I would start with vented rotors, steel braided brakelines, porterfield pads, and motal 600 break fluid. At together should only cost about $500 us.

Thanks, yellowslk. I would imagine that the difference is considerable, and $500 is a bargain for the increased performance AND safety.
