SRS Light Came On

I was driving to work this morning and stopped by the gas station. When I get back in my car to drive off the SRS light comes on and my screen shows that I have 1 malfunction. Anyone have this problem?

If you put gas in your car at the gas station, which I assume you did, and then the SRS light came then it is probably your gas cap. Just tighet your gas cap or maybe you tighetened it too much. I would take it off and put it back on. OH wait you said SRS light, hmmm I don't know... What I was talking about was the check engine light I think.

Well, went ahead and scheduled an appt. with my local MB dealer. I also scheduled the complimentary service for cars between 1000-3000 miles. The one thing I don't understand is they do not have any loaner MB's. They said that they will get me a rental from the Enterprise located next door. Whats with that? When I was with Infiniti they used to always have plenty of loaners available.

I got a loaner from Chevy Truck all the time. Have an MB and your walking.
My dealer and my Dodge truck dealer both use Enterprise where moto is "You can buy a car faster then rent from us", go figure.

it's not required by MBUSA that dealers have loaners available. It's up to the dealer if they want to provide alternative transportation, be it MB loaners, enterprise loaners, a ride back to home or office, etc. But there's no mandate for loaners

Sometimes tho, if the dealer has enterprise, they'll pick up the tab for the rental.

The MB dealer in Hawaii used to use enterprise (free of charge)...

when my sl500 (which I kept for all of 16 hrs) broke down, they loaned me a slk

ever since fletcher jones took over, they have a fleet of c class as loaners

My MB dealer has about 40 ML320s they use for loaners. Sometimes they do run out of them, however, and use rentals as a backup.

My Jag dealer does the same thing, but they have a much smaller fleet of loaners. There's something that just pisses me off about dropping off a $45k car at Jag and getting a stripped down Dodge Neon in return... doesn't really matter, I suppose... all I do is drive it home to pick up another car...

I just took my car in for the first "free" look and the Honolulu dealer has definitely improved with the new owners.
In on time, out on time and if I wanted the loaner (MB) was setting there. I used the shuttle service they have instead.
Info and attention to detail is much better....

For my free 1-3K SLK check-up a few months ago, I got a free recent M-Class loaner for the day at my dealer...

My SRS malfunction light came on also as I was driving. My car is only 2 months old, 3500 miles. I took it in on yesterday to have it checked out. I was told by the Technician that the SRS sensors was bad and needed to be replaced!! I was not a happy camper. I've taken the car in twice for maint. since I bought the car. One more malfunction and it's history.

I got the same malfunction while I was driving. I took it in to the dealership and the Technician told me that my SRS sensors were bad and needed to be replaced. I've only has this car for two months and I've already had to take it in for maintenance twice. One more malfunction and it's history!!
