SLK/R171: 350Z. Boxter, Audi TT, Lexus.. etc.. Why SLK 350?

2005 SLK 350 w AMG / 2008 C / 2019 A220
We only considered the 350 SLK and the Boxster. Never really looked at the Boxster until I sat in one at the Honolulu Auto Show. I don't know, just didn't appeal to me. Besides, I didn't want a ragtop (too many security issues). After test driving the 350 SLK, I was sold.
