WOW! I really like the contract between the brushed aluminum and the deep chrome lip. I think 19's are the perfect size for the SLK. Need some good "all angle" shots once you get them on and have time. Thanks for sharing.

Sweet! You and I have very similiar taste. I'm sure it'll look great once installed. My wheels had a problem! The rear offset was off by approx. 3mm making the spokes hit the brake caliper! The replacement wheels are going to take a couple of weeks.

I generally don't like aftermarket wheels but these are great. I'm looking forward to seeing them on your car.

Thanks for everyone's comments,

platinumsc: I can't wait either

-1-: So do I, I almost went with graphite grey, I doubt if I'll regret getting either finished but brushed alum will match with Iridium much better, if I had a 55, I'll probably get the grey, black wheels attrack alot of wannabe street racers. I love the lip 2.5" front and 3.5" rear. Will post pics ASAP.

dsb: Mind had a problem too, they painted it polished black, DCR took another 3 weeks to correct the problem, much longer than I anticipated. Can't wait to see your's with the DPE's.

Duo-Art: I'm the opposite, I don't usually like stock wheels unless they come in 19"s, lighter, and with a lip, and we know that will never happen.

Here's another pic for your enjoyment.

Here you go, I took some pics with the polished caps and the brushed ones.

Polished, very shiny.

Brushed, looks good, matches everything perfectly

dsb: These wheels do not need hubcentric rings, they were measured for exact fit, that's what I would assume with custom made wheels. (Pics of back of wheels)

That's cool. Mine do need hubcentric rings. I think DPE caters to many vehicles whereas DCR is focusing on MB. Just my guess. I'm sure you'll love your wheels once they're mounted. I just put mine on today to see what they look like. I will remove them again temporarily...(long story). Here's a terrible pic. I need to get a new camera!

BTW, Stick with the brushed caps.

Why you have to take off the wheels again? Another offset problem? I have a set of DPE LS15 on order, and you made me a bit worried (plus I have a set of Brabus springs coming, which dinko having problem with )

Yes, offset problem. DPE is working with me as we speak. They have been very professional. My replacement wheels will come in sometime next week. The fronts 19x8 were a perfect fit. The rears 19x10 didnt clear the brake caliper. It was about 3-4mm off. Since I already had the tire mounted to the rear wheels, I decided to get a thin spacer just to check it out. I really like the look. What size are you running? BTW, I should mention something about the offset. If you got the same offset I did, you probably wont have a problem. The AMG brakes are most likely thicker than the 280/350. However, I am not certain. I hope this helps. Oh, those LS15 looks real nice. Take pics when you get them.

Ynot, not trying to jack the thread.

I am getting 19x8 and 19x10 as well. And I've asked DPE to get the wheels prepared for SLK55 BBK, so hopefully I wouldn't run into any offset problem.

I should able to receive my LS15 within 3-4 week (DPE told me they have a set of brushed R07S faces for 280/350 pre-cut already, and will be ready to go very soon .... but I think I will stay with my LS15), and I will def. will take some pic once the wheels, springs, and body kit get installed
