something funny I'd like to share
Hi all,
This happened when I was driving my 350 out today. When I stopped at an
intersection, I noticed something going on in the 4WD behind me, upon closer
inspection, I saw what appeared to be two young girls waving and trying to talk to
me, they were also both making the "call me" signs. At first I thought they might
have been communicating with each other or with someone that I couldn't see,
but as the we drove further, they didn't stop doing what they were doing. After
a while I smiled back but didn't wave -- so I wouldn't embrass myself if they were
indeed communicating with someone that I couldn't see. Then I lost them after
I rushed through a yellow light.
Anyway, it's just something out of the ordinary ... there was nothing wrong
with my car, and I hope they were trying to distract me so I'd have an accident.

Good story, It happens a lot in my SLK... For some reason, a lot of people who don't know MBs assume its like a $150,000 car! I guess they do look that good! You should have tried to get their numbers!!

Pedestrians
One of the neat things about driving the SLK with the top down is watching and listening to pedestrians as you drive by. Several times, when we've been stopped or slowed due to traffic, people have loudly voiced compliments at us. Really does make you feel good to be driving a car that people notice.

My license plate is HEY MOE. So people shout it out to me all the time. It is of course Moe from the three stooges but for the younger crowd, it can be Moe the bartender from the Simpson's.

I had something similiar happened not too long ago, I was at a stop light and decided to drop the top as I was doing so, I noticed 3 or was it 4 korean girls laughing and giggling in excitement. I waved at them and they waved back, they continued to follow me for a long time until I pulled into my residual neighborhood. If only I was single.

hey funny stories i guess thats the price we all pay for having very cool cars lol. I was driving on my way to work one day and I had 2 girls pull up a long side me and start waving and then the passanger actually flashed me and then they just pulled into a shopping center, i wish i wasnt late for work cause i am singe i would liked their numbers lol.

It is funny the looks you get. Another funny story. My wife and I went to dinner with another couple. I drove my SLK and he drove his 2005 Corvette. We went to a restaurant that had valet only (much to my chagrin). You should have seen the valet kids gushing over my car. They insisted on parking it in a special spot front row and center. I felt obligated to tip them $5.00 just for the attention. I think they thought the car cost $ 100,000. The Corvette barely got a second look. I was grinning ear to ear (on the inside of course). The one kid even said to my wife, "you're really lucky". Ha Ha, I'm the lucky one!!

Happened to me too, i was in my cousins 2001 S500 and we were driving home it was me my cousin his wife and his mom, and we were driving and there was a honda crv full of hot girls, looking at us and the car amazed by the beauty of the car(and me
), so i started winking at them and waving, wrote my number down on a piece of paper in beg letters put it against the window and the next day got a call from an anonymous person, it was hilarious. girls wtih hot tooo.

Happened to me a few nights ago, car was clean, smoked tails were just put on...I came to a red light and a group of girls started to wave. I rolled down the window and gave back a smile, then drove off. Having a girlfriend really puts a cap on your ability to explore....nah, I'm just playn, I luv u!

i remember once while i was driving my slk two girls in another car was chasing me so i said to my self i should make use of this chance lol , i smiled to them only they started to talk i gave them my phone number and few minets later they called me and i parked my car and and i jumped in thier car
