well, i just got my slk 280.. im really not thinkin of changing it drastically, but i just wanna put some new rims on em.. ive been an SUV driver for the last 15 years, and im really new to this stuff.. what exactly would i need?
do i need the lowering springs if i go 19??
do i need the new suspension?
do i really expect to spend between 5 to 10 thousand???
and... would DLP be the best wheels to go or the monoblock by brabus??

You don't have to lower it if you don't want to but with lower profile tires, it makes your car seem like it's been jacked up, the fender gap is worst. Lowering will only get it back to factory height, so do it.

No, only if you are going with brand names like HRE's, Carlsson, Kinesis, etc, there's other companies like DPE, Iforged, and DCR that are around $3500-4500 w/ tires.
