Where did you hear that? I've never heard anyone with rattling problems when they lowered their slk's.

thanks, there's a few nicely modded slk's in this site, check them out too. Brabus springs from Neal at http://www.euroteckmotorsports.com/, it's about an inch lower than stock, still not low enough for me, looks lifted, another 1/2" would be perfect, although probably not practical.

It a r170 short stubby antenna, not the SL, the SL one is alot shorter and is plastic, mine is rubber. I got mine at my dealer (glausermb) for $55 bucks.

Is the fronts or rears not low enough? If it's the rears, check you springs pads. There could be a 16mm difference from 1 to 4 pads. Do you know what you have? It's easy enough to reach up with your hands and determine what size pads you have.

Not really, when I send my DCR wheels back to them to fix, I was rolling around in my 17"s, when parked, that thing looks like it's laying on the ground. It was aggressive as hell, still I did not hit anything, I like the stance alot, but when I got my wheels back, it just looks lifted, I know there's no fender gap but it looks high to me. I don't want to lower the rear w/o lowering the front. The rear already looks lower than the front, it's going to look really funny if I lower the rear anymore.

Your SLK looks awesome with those wheels & tires. It's amazing what a nice set of wheels & tires does for the look of a car. The tint really adds a nice touch as well.

Like graphite? I thought about those too but I decided on the brushed alum at the last minute. I doubt if I'll regret either choice.

as in order the option on your 08 clk? or do you already have the car and are thinking about buying the bumper parts? because someone in the classifieds section is selling the bumpers for dirt cheap.

Ynot, I thought you have a 6 speed manual? Why do I see an auto in one of your photos of your car's interior ?

Thanks, do it, the body kit is not going to affect warranty in anyway, there's someone selling it for a good price, it's normally close to 4grand, he's selling it for a little over 1K, that's a bargain. Glad you still like the C230.

I always park in gear, so used to it, sometimes I forget to pull the hand brake.
