Check out my steering wheel with the new shift paddles

Here is the pics of the steering wheel with the new shift paddles installed in my SLK. There was no re-wiring required for my vehicle and my original steering wheel does not comes with the shifting mechanism from the factory.














I am selling away from stock steering wheel..let me know should anyone be interested....

Congrats on being the first to pull off the conversion!

Now, for the questions...
-Where are you located?
-How did you do it?
-How much did it cost?
-Any other comments/suggestions?

Very nicely done, looks good.

How much? Not for me (I have a 6 speed) but I'm sure the other's would love to know.

I am based in Singapore. I went up to my workshop who does MB vehicles and requested him to order a steering wheel for my SLK with the new shift paddles. Cost is approx. US$1,030 with the new pair of steering wheel including labour.

Shifting mechanism at the steering is great for me as it rectifies the inconvenience from using the auto stick .
