EDP invoice for SLK?
Hi, I'm trying to figure out the European Delivery pricing for the SLK300. I've done a bunch of searches, but haven't been able to locate the invoices for the SLK, and option packages.
All I have seen is that the MSRP of EDP is 7% off the normal US MSRP. Does this discount apply to options as well (ie, would a $1000 option cost only $930 via EDP)? And are the invoice prices also 7% lower than US invoice prices?
Thanks for the help, sorry if I just failed at search...
Dan

Yes, it's 7% off US MSRP so not sure why you are looking for the invoice price? It's 7% off the final price with options, no destination charge ($875) EDP prices are negotiable, do it, will be the best experience of your life, plus the alps package is extremely cheap considering the hotels (most 5 stars) that you will be staying in.

How exactly am I supposed to negotiate a fair price without knowing how much the dealer paid for the car?

I don't understand these comments. When I'm negotiating for a car, I need to know the amount the dealer paid, and frankly don't care about what MSRP on the car is. But when I ask about invoice price for the EDP, even people who are telling me to negotiate are telling me that I shouldn't be interested in invoice price...

Autos.msn.com doesn't list EDD invoice, does it? It seems to only list normal invoice. How do I determine EDD invoice from that?

If you are looking for EDP invoice, as listed for BMW on their forums, it has never been posted on a MB forum AFAIK. The info provided to you is what is out there. Please educate us if you find out differently.
BTW,
Through STFF you might find posts detailing packages; i.e. hotel/trip packages offered by MB.

C300 Sport/Palladium Silver on Black/P2
I got almost 10k off a SLK in January, one with 55k MSRP.
I considered EDP, but everyone told me I'd never get a deal close to that good on EDP.
