Thinking of Upsizing - What would you get?
I have had my SLK280 for three years. It has been a good car but I find myself wanting more room and something with all wheel drive (e.g. 4-Matic, Quattro, etc.). So if you guys/gals were going to trade, what would be at the top of your list? My price range is around $40K and it can't be too huge (our parking space behind our rowhouse is limited).
My current top 3 are:
- C300 4-Matic Sport (love the looks, drives well; downside is the seats - wonder if I can get used to them)
- Audi A4 (nice interior, good gas mileage, Quattro; downsides - not a Benz
, no more V6 in the A4 sedan)
- MB GLK350 - nice drive, not too big, unique looking; downside is gas mileage (16/21).
OK fellow car nerds - what would you get?

if your interested in getting the Q5, save yourself the money and buy a nissan murano or infiniti fx35. audi bought the platform from infiniti for the Q5. i was tore between the Q5 and glk. the only really good thing i liked about the Q5 were the headlights and taillights. everything else is kinda boring.. it's just a round bubble...no styling..get the glk!!!

I’ve been driving Ml’s since 2000, and always wanted the SLK.
So in 2008 I decided to do it. Picked up a SLK350 and really enjoyed the ride but...I also really missed the room I had. So much so that I got another ML with no regrets.
I tend to agree with veerodder regarding the Q5. To me the GLK is unique, small but big, and in white it’s a head turner.
