Wheel Weight for (65361)

Car:
2005 - 2008 SLK 350 (R171)

Wheel:
Wheel# A-65361U20

Size:
17x7.5 (et36)

Fitment:
Front

Image:

Weight:
?????

Just wondering if anyone has a set of these wheels and knows the weight for the bare rim. I'm in love with how they look, they're reasonably priced, and the fitment looks like it will not be a problem on my 1990 300ce.

Thanks!
Brett

I got an informal weight of around 24-26lbs for the rim, bare.

Does this sound about right? That is far beyond my desired weight for a rim of that size. I'd probably go for an Enkei or O.Z Ultraleggera at that point.

Ah, okay. Thank you for that. I've turned up no wheel weights with the proper part number however. I'll keep looking.

Perhaps you could contact Cromodora, which is Mercedes' supplier for this wheel.

Ah, wow. Thanks Chris

How did you know/find out that this is the company that supplied this wheel? I'll be emailing them now, thanks again.

I've just traded away my SLK that had these wheels. These days the manufacturer name is cast into the wheel along with size, part number, etc. My remaining cars have Ronal wheels, the E-class versions made in Poland and the GL versions either made in USA or Mexico (have 2 sets).

Ah, excellent. Thank you very much. I've emailed them and now wait for a response.

If these are above 20lbs, I'll likely just go for the 98-99 CLK ones. Ugly, but 13.5lbs omg.

I have a set of them in chrome! They are super light, but I don't have a scale to weigh them for you. They are much lighter than reg. 17" wheels. That I can tell you.

Thanks! I've lowered my car, so 17" wheels are completely out of the question these days haha.
