New Lorinser Kit for the SLK

Just saw the new Lorinser Kit for the SLK. I don't know if anyone already posted it, but here it is. Looks nice in my eyes...

Turbine-style wheels look great on the R171: they help complete the baby SLR look.
I think it looks good too–*it's better than most of Lorinser's efforts (though their DTM front bumper for the W211 and W209 are real nice). The rear bumper is done real well. However, I'd take the Carlsson or the Brabus instead

You're right, it's nearly the first time I like a Lorinser Kit. Brabus or Carlsson kits are most of the time nicer...

The front of the Lorinser and back of the Lorinser does not look good in my opinion. This is how I would list it in. 1st Carlsson, 2nd AMG 55, 3rd Brabus, 4th Lorinser. Brabus didn;t really do a lot with the body as much as Lorinser, but the front and back look really bad. It reminded me of a Japanse car the mitstubisi one. Don't know which model since that i don;t follow that car company.

Tuner kit

I'll pass on all of those. Personally, I like the AMG kit the best of all for the 171.

The rear is too exotic for my taste.

Split opinion...

I dig the wheels and the rear valance, but the front valance and the spoiler just don't do much for me. Other than that I couldn't tell much difference.

Frankly, the car looks great without kits. This ain't a Honda that needs to stand out among other Hondas. It attracts all the attention one could want all by itself. I'd rather put my money into other parts of the car... first on my list are the K-40 radar detector, tint, and the Sirius upgrade. Feel kinda spent out right now... you all know how that is... Already been hit up for Simoniz and wheel/tire insurance, so those things are gonna have to wait a month or two...

I second that, Wil–*now that I go back and look at all the kits, the AMG, and the stocker, I think the regular 350 fascias look better than the AMG style kit or anything aftermarket. It looks like MB did an excellent job with the car, and I cannot wait to see one in real life (and of course, drive one).
But, I still think they should've made SLR-style turbine wheels available, either with the AMG pack or as an individual option.
