AMG “King of the Hill” Trophy to be awarded during the Atlanta AMG Meet!
We seem to have made an impression…..
I just received notice from the organizers for the Drag Day (November 5th) that due to the large response, they will be offering separate TROPHIES just for the AMG/Mercedes-Benz participants on hand.
Knowing just HOW competitive a bunch we have here at MBWorld, I would like to announce...with great pleasure...that the AMG "King of the Hill" Trophy will be awarded to the person with the lowest ET in the 1/4 mile at this event.
Same track. Same conditions. Same day.
The Title is up for GRABS! Come and claim your piece of AMG History! You want it? COME GET IT!
Trophies will be awarded for the following:
1. Quickest ET – Mercedes (Forced Induction) KING OF THE HILL!
2. Quickest ET – Mercedes (Normally Aspirated)
3. Best Reaction Time – Mercedes (no need to have 700hp for this one lol….)
Thanks again to the Ga3/S and SELOC folks for the enthusiastic welcome.

Great to meet you and Claire...we really enjoyed the Bananas Foster at the German restaurant on Friday evening.
You won the Fasest N/A AMG car with your 12.6X time....was it 12.66 or 12.67?
Schiznick won the "King of the Hill" trophy with his 11.50 and I was damn close on the R/T with my .018, but AmenMercedesGo squeezed me by .005 seconds to claim the best R/T with his .013!
I really learned a great deal (technically speaking) at this meet. There was a tremendous wealth of knowledge between all the participants I was able to talk with as well as the reps from the Private Lounge and MBUSA.

But isn't this a SLK32 AMG (R170) Forum . With all the activity here !! Thought you guy's had a SLK5.5 AMG (R171). Glad you guys had fun at the Strip. I'll do it next year.. YouGuys had some thoughts on the 160* stat. See on the R-171 Forum ___PTE___

what happened!!
Not many people noticed that my rear tires were REALLY BALD!! I had new ones coming ( 265-35 N-4s) , but they seem to have been delayed ? Well ,I was losing about 4 psi pressure per day !! I didn't think it would make the Dyno run
let alone the drag Strip. You notice I wasn't driving to spirited on the way up the Turnpike .
