2002 S2000 , 2005 911 & soon 2005 slk55 AMG
This Sucks
I received a call 
today from my saleman telling me that my build date that was in March and been postponed until July. 
He's not very happy with me because I cancelled my order. 
I'm thinking I would get delivery in September just in time to store it for the winter!! 
I guess I'll be looking at a Boxster or 911 next week their all over the place. I hope the folks that have a car are enjoying them. Do a burn-out for me.

Do a burn-out for me. not sure if you are interested in a diamond silver slk55 but i have one with 300 miles. black interior only option is air scarf. msrp was 63,500. i am going to be selling it soon. i will take 60k for it.
i am getting another viper is why it is for sale. i am having it paxtonized

Yes I do, That's why I bought a real Porsche today matter of fact. I pick it up on Friday. Its a very hot looking 911. Here's a photo.

Not sure if you guys in the colonies have the same sort of things over there but if you bought the car from an official Porsche dealer you may be able to get them to give you a free track test...... I got a "Test drive plus" thrown in with the 987S which involves a few hours thrashing one of the dealers cars on track with a pro driver to help you explore the limits of the car...... it may be worth asking

AMGFUN, what is your location (i.e. US, UK, etc.).
I have another thread going about my salesman telling me that production is stopping on SLK55.
Trying to get to the bottom of that "story".
Did your salesman give you a reason for the move out?
My build date is 2nd week of April.
Getting concerned....

HI,
I having the same problem with my production date. The production was in March and they are telling me know is been pushed to be a 2006 car which mean production date is in the Summer. The reson they gave me is that the producation stopped because of the holidays and the snowstorms they are facing in all over Europ. Which for me I fell better getting the car as a 2006.

He said the car is scheduled to be built in Apirl and delivered in May. Do still want the car? I said listen you F@#@##@ @#@$# Piece of #@## what do you mean mixed up. I just bought 911 a week ago !!!!!!!!!!!
Can you believe this. Bottom line I'm buying the car for my wife. The dealer ship gave me a nice discount.
I wanted this car all along and I hate to miss out on it. I hope its as cool as I think it is. OK I feel better now. Dam!!
