Thinking of selling my SLK55
I have an SL and an SLK55. I love both cars but I might be moving so I can't justify having both. They are just too similar. So if anyone wants an Obsidian Black SLK w/1,100 miles...let me know!!!

Interesting that you should get rid of the SLK...
Hi,
I imagine you bought the SL first and then the SLK later? Interesting that you should want to get rid of the SLK instead of the SL. Does it not have more modern features? After all the SL is 2 years older than the SLK build wise? I have to be frank if I had an SL 55 AMG I wouldn't have bothered with an SLK - just my own personal opinion.
Regards
Neil

is this the same AMGgirl that just joined inside the EC? if i had to choose between the two, i would keep the SL also, but whats your reasoning in getting rid of the SLK?

I would sale the SL. There's alot of them on the market to date. It won't be easy to get what you want for it especially since the 65 came out. By all accounts and reviews the SLK is the best AMG model to date for overall value, driveability and fun. I've had both and I got rid of my SL upon buying the SLK. Personally I get more attention in the SLK than the SL too.

SLK 55 AMG
I wanna know why you bought a SLK 55 if you already had an SL 55
Kinda overkill, but if you have the cash, why not. Even if it's a 03 model, the SL will have a bit more gajets (the SLK is supposed to be a more 'pure' and simple form of a sports car... or luxury cruiser, whatever you wanna call it).
You'll prolly get more money for the SLK as it's so new. Shame to see you leave the SLK behind like this, but both cars are truly beautiful, and I know I'd love to have them both. I do have a slight preference for the SLK due to the looks (and I like slightly smaller roadsters too, the SL is just a behemoth).
Or sell both, and get an SLR *wink* *wink*

GOlf bag
Not sure what you mean by loaded but my SLK55 will fit a medium size bag with drivers on the outside just fine. It takes a little tinkering but I can also have the top down.

Ah....that never gets old.
One major reason why I never considered the SLK was that I wouldn't be able to fit my clubs in there when the top was down. I would need to fit two sets when I pick up my buddy. Is it even possible? I doubt it!

Two sets here
I was able to squeeze two sets in with the drivers removed from the bags. The drivers are placed on top of the bags.
As noted above I also fit my set in and was able to drive top down. It requires a little tinkering but once you get it down it's not a big deal. The trick is to set the driver and woods in first and as close to the back of the car as possible. Then set the bag in front of the driver and woods so that the bag sits as low as possible.
I have a medium size Nike bag. I highly doubt the full size bags will fit.
