You got me on the ceramic vs. metallic....I'll ask. I know it is NOT reflective paper (ie glass-like)
It was a custom job....50% front doors, 35% on the little triagular-shape side windows and 20% on the back. I was very hesitant to do it that way (affraid you can tell the difference) but the guy that did them has 19 years of experience and assured me that they will blend perfectly together, as they did!!
Job is warrantied for life!!

If you do notice a difference with in your NAV service, then you'll know why. Maybe other members can provide feedback on metallic vs. ceramic. Although I only have a C230K, I have a combo setup. 50% sides, 35% rear. I've been told by several people to go darker on the rear back window of any car. It give a better blend/balanced appearance, as you have agreed.

SLK55 on the way... (S2000 for now)
I am thinking of getting my new slk55 tinted as well (still on the boat), how much did you spend for all 5 windows? (private message is fine, I understand..) It's just I paid like $780 to have my c230 done 2 yrs ago, they put 5% on all sides and back and 35% on the windshield, it looked amazing, and the quality was fantastic, just the cost 
so before I go down that road again, I would like to get a feel for how much is reasonable for a quality tint, thanks!

car looks great, can't say I would have picked white for this car, but I must say the tint really sets the car off!

, I paid $110 for my 15% tint all around and I thought it was too much. It only cost $130 for a S-class with alot more windows and I felt $90 was more appropriate b/c the windows on the SLK are tiny. 5% tint would have been the same price, that's too dark, I'm afraid I might get harassed. Here's my SLK with 15% tint.
